Surf / Sea State: Big
Air Temperature: 20C
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: sunny

The 2013 El medano trip started without a hitch arrived in the apartment 11.30 Sat 26th Jan in amazing blazing sunny blue skies after the UK snow!! There was a mad dash to the beach (I was far too slow as unpacking was my priority :)
Great sail by all till about 6pm Steve C, Paul V, Ian C, Mark Sw and Mark Sm. Wind was stiff breeze and gear ranged from 95L upto 145L / 7.0 as the wind went up/down for all. Big waves on the outer near the point.
Andreas Cucchi (Point 7) and crew were hammering on their slalom course is a real spectacular sight, using Isonics and 7.9 P7 race sail. Had a quick chat and he wasn't over powered. Maker sailed his ridiculous 4 hours stint again near the harbour wall whilst Mark Ian Paul and me had good burns outside the surf centre.
Note OTC is now closed. Finnish the even off with nice meal and beer :) hey UK suckers, dream on......
